Beneficial Ownership pilot project workshop was held on May 14, 2018 at Inya Lake Hotel, Yangon.

In this workshop was attended by such as MSG Vice-President of Myanmar EITI, representative of representatives from the Government, private sector, civil society, the budget department of MOPF, World Bank, from investment companies, MGE, and members of NCS office.  The representatives from oil and gas companies, gem and dade companies and mining companies which would participate in BO pilot project had also attended this workshop.

Firstly, the workshop was opend with the speech from U Win Htein, the Vice-President from MSG. Adam Smith International (Anton Ruhling) presented and explained beneficial ownership process which has been practiced internationally. Secondly, there was the group work of filling out answer and question section template. After that, U Kyaw Thet, the MSG member from government sector, expressed gratitude to all attendees. Finally, the Beneficial Ownership pilot project workshop successfully ended with the closing speech by U Win Htein.
