The meeting of sharing Liberia experiences regarding with EITI’s law enaction was held on December 5, 2017. In this meeting, Mr. T. NEGBALEE WARNER (Former Head of Secretariat), Liberia  EITI & Former Member of the Validation Committee, EITI International Board & Current Dean/Associate Professor of Law, and University of Liberia explained about Libera country’s forestry sector information and shared about EITI experiences. The participants also discussed about challenges when Forestry sector was included in upcoming second and third MEITI reports. They also discussed about the enact law for MEITI regarding with forestry.

The meeting was attended by such as representatives from Myanmar Timber Enterprise, Myanmar Forestry department, forest product joint venture, the World bank, WWF, NRGI, FREDA, Forest Trends, MFA, WCS, POINT and others observer.
