The 12th Meeting of Myanmar EITI Multi-Stakeholders Group Meeting was held from 9 AM to 5 PM at the meeting hall of Ruby of Inya Lake Hotel, Yangon on 16 March 2018.

The meeting was attended by the representatives from government, Civil Society Organizations, the private sector, the Budget Department of MOPF, SOEs (U Paing Company Ltd.), IA (Moore Stephen) consultants,  members from MSG and representatives from World Bank, NRGI, US Embassy, Australian Embassy, USAID, DFID MEITI-NCS team members and other participants and observers.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed about recommendation for the first and second draft report, Draft TOR for Reviewing Existing Policy and Legislation to Explore for Formulation of EITI Policy and Legislation and explained about Beneficial Ownership further process, Forestry sector template training, SOEs, workshop’s agenda. Finally, they confirmed about 12th MSG meeting decision and conducted the meeting successfully.
