Beneficial Ownership awareness workshop was held on May 2, 2018 at NCS office, Yangon.

This workshop was attended by Mining Department, Forestry Department, investment companies, No. (1) and (2) Mining, Oil and Gas companies, Forestry Companies, MFMA, FJV, MSG membesr and MEITI-NCS team members.

This workshop was opened with a speech from U Soe Win who is National Coordinator from MEITI-NCS and followed by the speech by U Kyaw Thet, a MSG Member from government sector. After that, NCS and MSG members presented and explained about MEITI progress and history, meaning of Beneficial Ownership by showing Beneficial Ownership’s video from International EITI’s secretariat. All participants actively discussed and asked the questions. Finally, the workshop was ended successfully with the closing speech by U Soe Win.
