Sagaing Region Sub National Coordination Unit Orientation and Formation workshops were organized on 22th and 23th August respectively.
In orientation, Myanmar EITI National Coordinator, National Coordination Secretariat team and Multi-stakeholder Group Members were met with Sagaing Region Chief Minister, Parliament Speaker, Members of Parliament, private sector, government sector and civil societies of Sagaing Region for introduction and awareness about EITI in order to make SNU Formation in Sagaing.
In Formation Workshop, Myanmar EITI National Coordinator, National Coordination Secretariat team and Multi-stakeholder Group Members were facilitated to form a Sagaing Sub National Coordination Unit(SNU) with the nomination of each sector of Sagaing Region.
The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation was nominated as a Patron of Sagaing SNU and the members were selected from each sector.
