Awareness event on EITI and MEITI process to Members of Union Parliament were held at Thabin Hall, Union Parliament in Nay Pyi Taw on 26, February, 2019.
U Tun Tun Hein, Union Parliament Deputy Speaker or Vice President of People's Parliament, Members of Union Parliament, Dr. Ye Myint Swe, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Natural Resource and Environmental Conservation, Vice Chair of MEITI MSG or Director General of Department of Mines, MSG members, U Soe Win, MEITI National Coordinator and Other observers were joined the event.
In the event, introduction to EITI and MEITI process, Explanation on findings and recommendations of 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 fiscal year Myanmar EITI Reports on each sector were focused.
Members of Union Parliament asked the questions and the MSG members and related officials answered and discussed. Continously, at the end of discussion, U Soe Win, National Coordinator of MEITI gave thankful remarks.
