Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Members of Multi-stakeholder Group, their Alternates, Myanmar EITI National Coordinator, Representatives of Sub-National Coordination Units (SNUs), Fiscal Policy, Strategy and EITI Unit of Budget Department of Ministry of Planning and Finance, Myanmar EITI National Coordination Secretariat Officials, Independent Administrator (IA) for 2016-2017 Fiscal Year Myanmar EITI report, Donors and Observers joined the meeting.

First, the IA of the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year Myanmar EITI report, PwC, presented the Scoping Study Report. The National Coordination Secretariat presented the updated implementation status of 16th MSG meeting decisions, updates of the tentative tasks’ schedule including the extension of the Grant Agreement, updates on SNU formation in different Regions and States, Forestry Report, and Mining Cadastre process. Government Officials also presented the updates on Hydro and Forestry sectors.

A number of decisions were made in the meeting, including the EITI report related scoping threshold for Oil and Gas, Mining, Gems and Jade, and Pearl sectors, the amendment of Grant Agreement and MoU and regular invitation of SNUs to MSG.
