Sub-National Coordination Unit Formation workshop was held at Dawei, Tanintharyi Division on February 26 and 27, 2018.

The workshop was attended by Tanintharyi Division’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Minister and others government members, parliament speaker and representatives, private sector, civil society, the department of MOPF, World Bank, DFID, MSG and MEITI-NCS team members.

In this workshop, representatives of MSG member and program manager from NCS explained about EITI, SNU TORs and discussed about advantages and challenges. Then, the attendees selected the Dawei SNU members, alternative members, secretary and chairman.
