Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation Deputy Minister receives the EITI International Secretariat
On 15 Aug 2019, Deputy Minister H.E. Dr. Ye Myint Swe of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation receives Executive Director Mr. Mark Robinson, Asia Director Ms. Gay Ordenes and Country Officer Ms. Annie Magus of the EITI International Secretariat to discuss Myanmar’s continued commitments to extractive sector reform and EITI. The Vice-chair of Myanmar EITI Multi-stakeholder Group (MSG), the Government sector MSG representatives, the National Coordinator, the Deputy National Coordinator, and the Programme and Technical Advisor also participated in this meeting. They discussed Myanmar EITI implementations, Validation and next steps in Myanmar EITI's Validation.
