"The Myanmar EITI National Coordination Office submitted the country’s first EITI 2015 report to the EITI International Secretariat on 2nd January 2016, which was approved by the Multi-stakeholders group. This report includes three sub-sectors – Oil and Gas, Gems and Jade and other minerals. In accordance with MEITI-MSG decision, 57 companies (which represent 100 % of oil and gas sector revenue income, 53% of revenue income from Gems and Jade Emporium and 45% of revenue income from other minerals) and 11 government agencies were included in the reconciliation process of this report. During the fiscal year 2013-14, total revenue collected from extractive sector amounted to MMK 3,011,283 million and about 85% of total revenue are collected mainly by the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs). The unresolved discrepancies in this report amounted to of MMK 162 million (US$ 0.17 million) representing 0.01% of total receipts by government reporting entities in fiscal year 2013-14."
